Licorice liquid is extracted using 20% alcohol (derived from sugar cane). It is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs and bronchitis. Licorice is also used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis in adults.

Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) root: 1.69 g
Adults: Take 2 to 4 mL daily. May be used for up to 4-6 weeks or as directed by a health care practitioner.
